A floral-delivery service creating jobs for women from refugee backgrounds. When their website didn’t have the functionality to manage demand, they came to us. We designed and developed an eCommerce site that provides an optimum user experience, while making it simpler for the client to fulfill orders. The site is visually-stunning, and emphasises the social advantage to choosing the brand in a competitive marketplace. Getting further into functionality, the new website automates delivery costs based on a customer’s postcode input; it offers flexible payment options; and provides the user the ability to add extra products to their order (all things their original site lacked). And, given the nature of the product as a variable ‘daily bunch’ rather than a ‘set-menu floristry offering’ the new site also gives the team the ability to list the product as ‘sold out’ for the day, which, in turn, is able to be reset the following day without having to load a new product type.
