Anglicare Southern Queensland
Anglicare Southern Queensland, part of Anglicare’s national network, offers services including aged care, mental health support, family and youth services, disability services, and community support programs. They enlisted Rock Agency to unify their digital presence and make it accessible for people across the disability community and ESL audiences.
Central to the project was the consolidation of three separate websites into a single, intuitive platform, while also incorporating refreshed branding. The goal was to improve user experience, simplify navigation, and enhance security and accessibility. We were also responsible for rewriting the site for a clear, consistent tone of voice.
Accessibility was the cornerstone of this project. We went above and beyond standard design criteria to ensure that users from all walks of life could easily navigate a single platform to find exactly what they needed. This was the core challenge ASQ came to us to solve, and we addressed it with elegance by transforming vast amounts of information into a cohesive, intuitive user experience.
On the design side, we introduced a fresh identity for the website, complemented by a copy style that is warm, inviting, and easy to understand. By crafting a distinct set of colours and patterns for each sub-brand – aged care, foster care, counselling, family support etc. – we visually defined ASQ’s services, while also ensuring they work together seamlessly to represent the brand as a whole.
Behind the scenes, we developed a highly flexible yet user-friendly backend that gives ASQ complete control over managing their website in the long term. By prioritising custom coding and minimising reliance on third-party plugins or page builders, we built a site that’s not only tailored to ASQ’s needs but also easily customisable within their branding framework. This empowers ASQ to efficiently update the site while maintaining both design and structural integrity. It’s part of Rock Agency’s commitment to delivering long-lasting value to our partners.
