A new website to support the world’s most notable recreational fishing conference. This project was about starting with the target audience, then designing a clean, functional and friendly site to speak to them. There’s nothing too tricksy or crazy here – that’s not what the job needed – but there’s still lots of thoughtful design touches to point out: the addition of the countdown timer allows people to immediately identify when the next conference is and register with ease through the website. Unique design elements including the use of fish-scale textures and a native Australian colour palette give the site a local Victorian context. The site’s also scalable and able to be updated by the client, ensuring longevity and value for their investment.
