Having worked with Hamish & Andy for years, we made the suggestion of a website overhaul. Times change, tech changes, and we knew there was lots we could do to improve the site for its users. Goals were to freshen up look and feel; make content more easily searchable; and optimise speed and performance. We used heat-mapping to determine a new navigational structure, discarding content that wasn’t engaging. We reduced clutter, created more space around elements, and incorporated new branding and an updated logo – which we also designed. Search functionality’s been streamlined for speed; it’s also accessible across all website pages, and delivers results across categories (videos, podcasts, shop items etc.). Adding in efficient Filtering Options to pages has also made content more easily searchable and accessible. Most importantly, H & A have been rapt with the results and feedback from fans.
